What is the Fall Sensor?
- Automatic Fall Sensor (requires Wi-Fi) - Intended for the place where most falls occur indoors: the bathroom
- Also allows voice-activated request for assistance, with 2-way voice-enabled technology
Install Help
The Fall Sensor needs to “see” the entire bathroom. Avoid placing the device in corners where walls, doors, shelves, or other objects may block its view.
Choose a central spot on a wall.
Attach it to a plain painted area without wallpaper.
Avoid placing on the back of a door, it needs to be in a fixed location.
Your Fall Sensor isn’t waterproof, so avoid contact with water.
Placement
Your Fall Sensor works most effectively when the center button on the device is about 5 feet from the floor.
Mounting
After cleaning the wall and placing the four adhesive strips to the back of the device, you’re ready to mount your Fall Sensor.
Remove the backing from all four adhesive strips and stick the device to the wall, making sure the power adapter plug faces down. Apply steady pressure until it’s firmly attached.
*The Fall Sensor cannot detect 100% of the falls.
