For your Aloe Care Essentials or Total Care bundle, you simply plug Aloe Care into a wall socket and, in a few moments, you will hear a chime followed by voice-prompts which will allow you to easily complete set-up. That’s it!
Aloe Care is now ready and able to connect you to a professional response team-member. Should you need it, simply repeat “Emergency", repeatedly until you hear the chime. Once activated, say "Emergency" to confirm the need for assistance, or "Cancel" to stop the voice assistant. After canceling, you can say "Call my family" to notify Caregivers that you'd like to speak with them.
Tip: For the best response, speak slowly and paus in-between repeating the wakeword "Emergency."

The Aloe Care Smart Hub can even help you connect -- and talk to -- the people in your designated circle of care (they must be on the Aloe Care app). You can push either the Primary Caregiver or All Caregivers button on the Smart Hub and they will be notified to contact you. Alternatively, if you initiate an Emergency response (by repeating “Emergency”) and then realize you don’t need medical attention, the system will offer to reach out to your family. If you accept (by saying “Call My Family”) the Smart Hub will automatically send notice to everyone, asking them to check-in with you. When they do check-in, you will hear their voices come through the Aloe Care Smart Hub - no need to rush to a phone, just talk!
People in your care circle can also reach you through the Smart Hub. They touch the check-in button on the app, select the device and your Smart Hub will ring. You can answer their call using just your voice. Whether you need someone to stop by and lend a hand or if you just want to chat, it’s a great way to connect.
