When someone in the Care Circle, as identified in your Aloe Care Health app, initiates a check-in call to the Smart Hub, the hub will start ringing. The older adult has approximately five rings to either accept or deny the call. If there is no response after five rings, a two-way call will automatically be established between the caregiver and the older adult.
If the older adult wishes to accept a call from the caregiver before the end of the ringing cycle, they can do so by tapping the gray "✓" button located in the top left corner of the Smart Hub. To deny the call, the older adult can tap the gray “X” button in the bottom left corner of the hub. If the call is denied, the caregiver will receive a notification stating, “Check-in denied. Please try back later.”
Caregivers can end Check-In Calls by hanging up through the Aloe Care Health Mobile App. Care recipients can end a check-in call by pressing the "X" button on the Smart Hub.
