The Smart Hub 2 is the heart of your Aloe Care Smart System. It connects your Aloe Care devices, provides access to emergency assistance, allows caregivers to check in, and helps keep your care circle informed.
Requesting assistance
Press the Assistance button on the Smart Hub. When prompted, say “Emergency” or press the Accept button to confirm your request.
You can also use voice activation. Say “Emergency” repeatedly until the Smart Hub responds and begins blinking blue. Then say “Emergency” once more to confirm.
If you confirm your emergency or do not respond, the ring light will turn solid blue, and you will be connected to the Aloe Care Response Team. To cancel the request, follow the voice prompts or press the Cancel button.
Contacting your caregivers
Press #1 Primary Caregiver to call your primary caregiver. Press #2 All Caregivers to send a check-in request to all caregivers in your care circle. You can edit these buttons in the Aloe Care Health app.
Receiving caregiver check-ins
Caregivers can start a check-in call through the Aloe Care Health app. If a caregiver believes emergency assistance is needed during the call, they can press the Emergency button in the app. An Aloe Care Response Team member will join the conversation to assess the situation and dispatch medical help if necessary.
