Start by finding a good location for the Smart Hub 2 and plugging it into a nearby electrical outlet. The Smart Hub 2 will power on automatically. When the ring light pulses orange, the Smart Hub 2 is in setup mode.
Setting up the Smart Hub 2 for yourself
1. Wait for the ring light to pulse orange.
2. Press the black center button while the Smart Hub connects.
3. The ring light will turn solid orange during setup.
4. Follow the Smart Hub’s voice prompts.
5. Once setup is successful, the voice assistant will confirm that setup is complete, and the ring light will turn solid white.
Your Smart Hub 2 is now ready to use.
Setting up the Smart Hub 2 as a caregiver
6. Download the Aloe Care Health app.
7. Follow the setup instructions provided in the app.
8. The primary caregiver must be present to complete setup through the app.
9. Once setup is complete, the Smart Hub’s ring light will turn solid white.
The primary caregiver is the individual who ordered the Smart System and set up the account and billing in their name.
Note: The Caregiver App is not required to set up, own, or operate a Smart Hub device.
