No need to worry! If you accidentally press the Care Button once, the system will register the button press, and prompt you to confirm or deny that you need assistance. Make sure to get in range of the Hub and say “cancel” or press the “X” button on the top of the Smart Hub.
In the event you do not cancel the emergency when prompted by the Hub, an Aloe Care Emergency Response team member will check in to see if you’re ok. Feel free to let them know that it was an accidental button press, and they will end the call accordingly.
Please note that if you press the care button repeatedly and do not give verbal confirmation through the Smart Hub, emergency services will be dispatched.
